Spectrum
This widget presents multiple spectra on the same graph. Each of the spectra may have been taken on different machines, points, acquisition modes or machine captures, and therefore allows multiple data sources to be used. For each of them the Widget can display in real time the spectra captured by the data acquisition hardware, as well as the last "n" spectra stored in the database.
Funcionality
Widget components and operation are described below.
Icon | Name | Description |
Play/Pause | Play button allows to put the widget in online mode, automatically updating the last measurements taken by the acquisition hardware. Pause button stops the online mode, so the Widget will stop updating the values taken by the hardware.
Previous | Displays the measurement previous the widget visualization of those stored in the database.
Next | Displays the measurement after the widget visualization of those stored in the database.
Timeline | It displays the acquisition history timeline, which provides quick and easy access to the measurements recorded on a given date.
Information | Displays or hides the spectrum information window. This window displays point, machine and spectrum information.
| |
Cursors | Allows you to add up to 10 different cursors in the spectrum. Each cursor will be assigned a different color by default.
Single Cursor | Selects the single cursor type (single frequency).
Harmonics | Selects the harmonics cursor type, which allows you to mark the harmonics of a frequency in the spectrum.
Lateral bands | Selects the sideband cursor type, which allows to display the equidistant frequencies on both sides of a reference and their harmonics.
Cursors information | Displays or hides the cursor information window, which shows the data of the displayed cursors in the spectrum (amplitude, frequency, units). For sideband cursors it also shows the amplitude and frequency of the reference and the distance to the main cursor.
Clear all | Removes cursors and fault frequencies displayed on the spectrum.
Failure frequencies | Select from a drop-down list the fault frequencies defined in the dynamic point to be displayed on the spectrum. The name of the fault frequency appears on the graph.
Magnitude change | Select the magnitude to display the spectrum (acceleration, velocity, displacement), integrating or deriving the signal as required.
Change in scale | Switches between linear or logarithmic scale.
Waveform | Displays the waveform stored in the capture for the same point and spectrum acquisition mode.
Parameter Matrix | Displays the parameter matrix of the machine capture on which the spectrum was measured, thus showing all the parameters of the dynamic points of the machine and the measurements of the static points.
Reset zoom | Resets the graph zoom. |
Configuration
The Widget, once created, must be configured to select the data source and display options. To do so, select the Configuration icon, located in the upper right corner.
The following window shows the configuration options:
The Widget allows multiple spectra to be displayed on the same graph, in which case several data sources must be configured. For this purpose, the configuration window has a bar on which several data sources can be added and the one to be configured can be selected by means of the corresponding tabs.
Â
To create a new data source, click on the following button:
Â
This will create a new tab, automatically assigning a color to it and displaying the particular configuration options for this measurement.
To access the options for the other data sources just click on the corresponding tab.
The following table shows the general widget configuration options as well as the particular ones for each data source or measurement that the graph will show.
Field | Description |
Nombre | Widget identifier. This text appears in the upper left part of the widget. |
Máquina | Selects the machine of the measurement displayed in the widget. |
Visible | Defines if the corresponding spectrum graph will be visible or hidden. |
Color | Selects the color to be used in the spectrum graph. |
Punto dinámico | Selects from a drop-down list the machine point and component to which the spectrum measurement to be displayed belongs. |
Modo de adquisición | Selects from a drop-down list the spectrum acquisition mode to be displayed by the widget. |
Anteriores y posteriores | Selects desired spectrum date, as well as the previous and next number of spectra to be displayed. |
Entre fechas | Selects the date range for displaying the spectra, as well as the maximum number of spectra to be displayed. |
Personalizado | Saves the selected dates in the timeline, allowing to delete them all. |
Eje Z | Selects Z-axis sorting. It depends on three factors:
|
Vista | Selects from a drop-down menu the default view type:
|
Unidad de medida | Selects from a drop-down list the units of measurement in which the amplitude values of the spectrum will be represented. |
Tipo de detección | Selects from a drop-down menu the detector associated to the amplitude (RMS, P-P, Peak) with which the amplitude values of the spectrum will be represented. |
Órdenes | Displays the X-axis in frequency or in orders. |
Unidad de frecuencia | Selects from a drop-down list the unit in which the scale and frequency values will be displayed. |
Número de armónicos por defecto | Defines the harmonic cursors number of the main cursor, as well as the sidebands number on both sides of the central cursor in the case of sideband type cursors. |
Actualizar forma de onda en | Selects from a drop-down field the linked widget in which the waveform associated with the spectrum will be presented. The drop-down presents the list of waveform widgets on the desktop. |
Actualizar matriz de parámetros en | Selects from a drop-down field the linked widget in which the parameter matrix of the machine capture on which the spectrum was taken will be updated. The drop-down presents the list of parameter matrix widgets on the desktop. |
Grid line | Displays a grid over the graph. |
Mostrar toolbar | Displays the widget toolbar at all times. This toolbar is always displayed when maximized. When not maximized it will be displayed depending on what is selected in this option. |
