Trend

This widget displays a trend graph of the measurements stored in the machine captures. It allows to visualize in one or several trend lines the historical values of the dynamic point parameters or the static point measurements, providing a quick access to several time ranges through its navigation tools. It also allows to visualize the alarm levels set for each measurement.

Funcionality

Widget components and operation are described below.

Icon

Name

Description

Play/Pause

Play button allows to put the widget in online mode, automatically updating the last measurements taken by the acquisition hardware. Pause button stops the online mode, so the Widget will stop updating the values taken by the hardware.

Information

Displays or hides the graph information window. This window shows the measurements that the graph is displaying, as well as the machine, point and acquisition mode to which it belongs. It also displays 2 checkboxes for each measurement to show or hide the trend lines and alarm levels.

Cursors

Allows you to add up to 10 different cursors in the graph. Each cursor will be assigned a different color by default.

Single Cursor

Selects the single cursor type.

Cursors information

Displays or hides the cursor information window, which shows the data of the displayed cursors in the graph (measurement, machine, point, acquisition mode, amplitude, date/time, units, rpm, load and machine status).

Clear all

Removes cursors and fault frequencies displayed on the graph.

Additional data

Marks with a circle those trend points in whose corresponding snapshot there are stored spectra and/or waveforms.

Reset zoom

Resets the graph zoom.

Range

Selects the time range that the graph will display.

Highest resolution

Displays all points stored in the database for the selected time range. By default it is disabled, so the system will present the filtered trends as defined in the general system configuration. When enabling this option the widget will display a message to warn that the process may take a while.

Configuration

The Widget, once created, must be configured to select the data source and display options. To do so, select the Configuration icon, located in the upper right corner.

The following window shows the configuration options:

The Widget allows multiple trends to be displayed on the same graph, in which case several data sources must be configured. For this purpose, the configuration window has a bar on which several data sources can be added and the one to be configured can be selected by means of the corresponding tabs.

To create a new data source, click on the following button:

This will create a new tab, automatically assigning a color to it and displaying the particular configuration options for this measurement.

To access the options for the other data sources just click on the corresponding tab.

The following table shows the general widget configuration options as well as the particular ones for each data source or measurement that the graph will show.

Field

Description

Nombre
(name)

Widget identifier. This text appears in the upper left part of the widget.

Visible

Defines if the corresponding spectrum graph will be visible or hidden.

Color

Selects the color to be used in the measurement trend line.

Máquina
(machine)

Selects the machine of the measurement displayed in the widget.

Componentes
(components)

Selects the machine component whose measurements the widget will display.

Punto dinámico
(dynamic point)

Select from a drop-down list the machine dynamic point to which the parameter to be displayed belongs.

Punto
(point)

Selects from a drop-down list the machine's static point whose measurement will be displayed on the graph. To access this field, select the Static Point tab.

Modo de adquisición
(acquisition mode)

Selects from a drop-down list the acquisition mode to which the measurement to be displayed belongs.

Parámetro
(parameter)

Select from a drop-down list the parameter whose trend is to be displayed.

Unidad de medida
(unit of measurement)

Selects from a drop-down list the units in which the measurement values will be represented.

Actualizar matriz de parámetros aut. en
(update auto parameter matrix in)

Selects from a drop-down field the linked widget in which the parameter matrix of the machine snapshot on which the measurement was taken will be updated. The drop-down presents the list of parameter matrix widgets on the desktop.

Actualizar forma de onda en
(update waveform in)

Select from a drop-down field the linked widget in which the waveform associated acquisition mode, point and capture from which the measurement was obtained will be presented. The drop-down presents the list of waveform widgets on the desktop.

Actualizar espectro en
(upgrade spectrum in)

Select from a drop-down field the linked widget in which the spectrum associated with the acquisition mode, point and capture from which the measurement was obtained will be presented. The drop-down presents the list of spectra widgets on the desktop.

Intervalo
(range)

Sets the time frame for displaying the trend graph.

Mostrar puntos en error en HR
(show points in error in HR)

Displays the measurements whose reading gave a validation error, whose sensor was in failure mode or had any other anomaly.

Play por defecto
(play by default)

Enable the widget's play option every time the desktop is presented. This option causes the trend graphs to automatically update with new values as new measurements are taken by the acquisition hardware.

Grid line

Displays a grid over the graph.

Mostrar toolbar
(Show toolbar)

Displays the widget toolbar at all times. This toolbar is always displayed when maximized. When not maximized it will be displayed depending on what is selected in this option.

Mostrar velocidad, carga y estado en cursores
(display speed, load and status in cursors)

Allows you to choose to display speed, load and status cursors.
