If no template has been created yet, you will see the following message on the screen:

If there are already created templates, you will see the list of these templates, as well as the button that allows you to create new ones.

Each templates has two states:

Draft

When adding a new template it will always be initially created in draft mode.

To create it click on "+ New template" in the list:

A pop-up window will open asking you to give your template an unique name:

Once you have clicked on the button "Create template", the draft will open for you to start configuring the template. Everything you configure will be saved automatically.

You can go in and out of the draft as many times as you need until you are ready to publish your template.

When you go back to the template list, you will see the new template and in the "DRAFT" column you will see several icons, which allow you to delete, edit or view the draft.

There cannot be two users editing the same draft at the same time, so if someone is editing, just the eye icon (for viewing the draft) will be active. If you need access to edit or delete, you can click on the padlock icon to disable the current user's edit mode and make all icons active and accessible again.

In addition, when a draft has been published, in the "DRAFT" column the icons disappear and the "+ Create" button is displayed instead. Since a published version cannot be edited, so if you need to make changes to a published template, you will have to create a new draft with the "+ Create" button. The draft will be created based on your published template.

Once you have finished editing the new draft, you can publish it, and it will replace the current published version.

Summary of the icons that you can find in the "Draft" column of the template list:

Someone is editing the draft. In addition to the icon, the email address of the user who is editing will be displayed:

View the draft in read-only mode.

Edit the draft.

Delete the draft.

Create a new draft based on the current published version.

Published version

IMPORTANT: The template will not be applied to assets until it has been published.

A draft cannot be published empty, so the "Publish" button will appear once you have completed some of the general template settings or added a component.

Once your template has been published, the label will change from the gray "DRAFT" label to the green "VERSION PUBLISHED" label. You will also see the date and time of publication information. From this moment on, the template will start applying to the assets you have added during the template creation and/or during its publication. You will also be able to add more assets in this published version and the template will be automatically applied on them.

In the list, under the "PUBLISHED VERSION" column, the information of the date/time of publication appears in green, as well as the icon to enter the viewing mode where you can consult all the details of the configuration of your published template.
