In the general configuration of the template there are 4 blocks that you can configure to apply to your assets:
General information
The general information consists of 3 parameters that you can optionally configure to your template:
Nominal speed. You can add the numerical value; the unit of this parameter is in Hertz.
Tachometer. To configure this parameter it is necessary that you have already added components, so that you can select in which of them the tachometer is located.
Line frequency. You can choose from the available parameters in the drop-down menu.
Processing tree
The processing tree can be configured manually by adding sensors one by one, or automatically by clicking on the "Find" button.
Automatic mode
To build the processing tree automatically, it's necessary that you add or have added assets to the template, since the search is based on the data of these assets. If you later add more assets to the template (even if it is already published), these assets will also be included in the regular expressions of the tree.
In the upper right corner, all the information about the assets that have been added to apply the template to them is displayed:
If you have already added assets to the template, just click on the "Find" button in the "Processing tree" block and the tree will be created automatically.
Once the search has been completed, you will see the automatically created processing tree with all the sensors, measurements and processes that have been found. If for some reason you need to edit any part of the tree, you can do it from the 3-dot button of each of the tree elements, which will open a menu to edit or delete each of those elements. You can also manually add any other element if you need to.
IMPORTANT: If you make changes to the automatically created tree or create one manually and then click on the " Find " button, you will lose the tree that you had edited or created manually.
Manual mode
There are 3 types of elements that can be added to a processing tree:
Sensors
Measurements. To each of the sensors you add you can optionally add the measurements you want.
Processing. To each of the measurements that are part of each sensor, you can optionally add the processing you need.
To start building your processing tree manually, click on the "Add sensor" button:
A pop-up window will open where you can configure the sensor parameters:
The 2 parameters you have to fill in are:
Name
Regular expression

After clicking on save, you will see the sensor added in the processing tree:
You can add as many sensors as you need.
Once you have added sensors, you can optionally add to each of as many measure as you need. To do so, click on the 3-dot button of any of the sensors and select the "Add measure" option:
A pop-up window will open where you can configure the measure parameters:
In addition, you can add processings to the measures if you need to. To do so, click on the 3 dots button of any of the measures and select the option "Add processing".
A pop-up window will open where you can configure the processing parameters:
Operational status
To be able to add "operational statuses" it is necessary that you have configured the "Processing tree".
This block of the template allows you to define formulas that establish different statuses of the assets to which you apply the template. These statuses can define, for example, when your asset is "Stopped", "Running" or "Starting". Configuring this block is optional and you can add as many statuses as you need.
If the tree "Processing tree" block is empty you will not be able to add statuses and you will see this message:
Once you have added sensors in your "Processing tree", you can start adding statuses by clicking on the "Add status" button:
When you add a state, the following pop-up window will appear. Here you can add the status name (each status must have a unique name), as well as the formula that defines this status:
After clicking the "Save" button you will see your new operational status added to the list:
In the status list you can keep adding all the statuses you need, either with the "Add status" button or with the "+" icons that will add the new status just in that position.
You can also edit or delete each status by clicking on the 3-dot icon on the right side of each item:
Default alarm configuration
To be able to add or edit "default alarms" you need to publish the template. Once published, the block where you can start adding alarms will be activated.
IMPORTANT: Once you have added your alarms, it is necessary to click on the "Update" button for these alarms to be applied to the selected assets.
If the template is not published you will see this message:
Once you have published the template, you can start adding alarms by clicking on the "Add Alarm" button:
After clicking on the button, a panel with the alarm creation wizard will open.
Select alarm type
Choose between the 3 available alarm types: fixed threshold, statistical or relative. Once you have done so, click on "Next".
Define properties parameters
In this block you need to specify the following parameter:
Regular expression. It's a sequence of characters that define a search pattern. Alarms will be added to all properties that match this pattern. By default, the regular expression ".*" appears, indicating that all properties are considered.

You can leave the default parameter, which will include all the properties of the assets you add to the template. Even if you use these default parameter, you need to click on "Search" in order to continue with the configuration:
Once the search is complete, you will be able to see the list of properties:
IMPORTANT: This preview is created from the assets you currently have added to your template. It is the list of properties of those assets that currently match the established parameters, if you later add more assets to the template, they will be automatically included in the alarm rules.
If you make any change in the regular expression, the "Next" button is disabled again and the "Search" button is enabled again. In other words, if you make any changes to the parameters, you must perform the search again in order to continue:
When the search is finished, the list of properties matching the new parameters is displayed and the next button is enabled so that you can continue with the process.
Select operational status
This step will only appear if the switch to use operational status is activated.
In this step, you will have to indicate which operational status or statuses you want to be considered:
Configure alarm rules
In this block of the configuration wizard, you need to define at least one rule for the creation of your alarms. To do this, click on the "Add it now" link:
A pop-up window will open with the form for creating the alarm rule. This form will have different fields to fill in, depending on the type of alarm you have chosen in the first block of the configuration wizard.
Once you have completed at least the required fields of the form and clicked on the "Save" button you will see the rule added to the list:
You can add as many rules as you need by clicking on the "+" icons, depending on the icon you click, the position in which the new rule you create will be added.
If, for some reason, the rules overlap, the one that is higher in the list will always be considered, so the position of the rules that you create is important. You can change the order by clicking and dragging the 3-line icon on the left end of each alarm rule.
You can also use the icons on the right to delete (trash icon) or edit (pencil icon) each of the rules in the list.
Baseline configuration
This block will only appear if you have selected the "statistical" alarm type in the first block of the configuration wizard.
You can leave the default parameters or adjust them to what you need. Once you have finished click on the "Save" button.
Alarms list
After clicking "Save" you will see your new alarm settings added to the list:
In the list you can continue to add the configurations you need, either with the "Add alarm" button or by using the "+" icons that will add the status right at that position.
You can also edit or delete each of the configurations by clicking on the 3-dot icon on the right end of each item:
Update alarms
Once you have the configuration of your alarms ready, you need to click on the "Update" button so that these alarms are applied to the assets:
Once the process is completed, the date on which the update has been applied will be displayed; this date will be updated each time you reapply your alarms by clicking on the button.
Each time you add new alarms or edit the configuration, you will need to click the button again to apply them.
