To create a new data source, click on the “New data source“ button:
A wizard to configure the info associated with that data source will start.
Data source type
The first step into the Wizard is the selection of the data source type:
After selecting the data source type, the "Next" button will be enabled to continue with the configuration.
Configure your Data Source
Basic Information
The basic information for a data source is composed of Name (mandatory), Model (optional), and Serial Number (optional).
Connection Data
This information helps the platform to get connected to the data source and retrieve the device’s data.
The connection data requested depends on the type of data source selected in the previous step. In this example we see the data that is requested for the DATOM type.
When all the data are filled, the button “Deploy” will be enabled and the data source will be ready to be deployed and communicate with the platform.
Click on “Return to connectivity list” to go back to the Connectivity screen. In the connectivity devices you will see the data source created:
